Light Hall Martial Arts
Students from Light Hall school have been attending Solihull Combat in Acocks green for the last 8 weeks. They have been learning the basics of kickboxing on a course that has been supported by funding from the Sports Partnership. Students have learnt control, discipline and a number of different skills and techniques. Students that have attend the course have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and helped them develop self confidence to continue this in the future. As School sports co-ordinator for the school its great to be able to offer these opportunities to students that do not normally get chance to participate in sports like this. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable project and i send my thanks to Paul Gilmore for the time Solihull Combat has given.

South Solihull Netball Skills Competition 2012 will be held on Thursday 23rd February at North Solihull Sports Centre. Schools must register by 9.15am and we hope to start the competition promptly by 9.35am.
