South Solihull Netball Skills Competition 2010
Despite bad weather and traffic the Netball Skills proved to be another success with 23 teams taking part, the most we have had in the past 6 years!!
Ulverley were triumphant with an exciting final between them and Saint Martins, they were neck and neck the whole way but they hold their nerve when it came to the final skill of shooting.
Ulverley hold the record for the fastest recorded time in the past 6 years when they completed the 5 skills in an amazing 4 mins 18 secs in the final in 2005. That is the challenge for 2011 to beat that time!
Congratulations to the Ulverley girls and their coaches! Well Done to everyone who took part!

Students from Light Hall school have been attending Solihull Combat in Acocks green for the last 8 weeks. They have been learning the basics of kickboxing on a course that has been supported by funding from the Sports Partnership.
